Let’s admit it; At some point in our lives, we all wish for an easy job that also pays well. None of us like to lead a hectic lifestyle, but now it has become part of our routine. But what if there is a company that offers you a high salary in exchange for tasting candy!? Sound like a dream? Yes, it certainly is, but it’s also true! A Canadian candy maker is looking to hire a qualified taster, with a salary of up to $100,000 (more than INR 60 lakh) annually. Candy Funhouse, a candy store, revealed last month that it was looking for a “Candy Manager” to oversee its “Candy Makers”.

The Ontario-based company announced the position’s availability on Instagram and noted that applicants must be five years old or older. The selected candidate will be in charge of conducting business board meetings, permitting an inventory of new confectionery with the “CCO stamp of approval” and tasting approximately 3,500 candies per month. The company also posted on LinkedIn and informed people that the job is to work from home with the option to work in Toronto, Canada (Canadian Resident) or Newark, New Jersey (US Resident.) They also added , ” will be done through extensive taste training courses and more. Candy directors should put fun first in their daily routine.” According to Candy Funhouse, candidates should have a desire non-stop for confectionery items. They added that they are looking for a leader who is bold, creative, natural and always open to trying new things.
Anyone five years of age or older can apply and no prior experience is required. Interested applicants have until August 31 to apply. When hired, the new CCO will receive intensive palatal training in addition to other on-the-job training.
