In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat the buttermilk and add the cumin seeds. Add onions to cook. Now add the paste and continue to stir-fry. Reduce heat to low, add chicken and stir-fry. Add salt, turmeric, green chili, garam masala, coriander powder and paprika. When the chicken is tender, cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes with two cups of water and milk. Then take it out and serve!
