In the end, I had to replace the rear end, the transmission, and plan to completely remove the front differential when I started pumping every six weeks. It turned out that the gas tank vent was damaged causing the pump to operate at positive pressure, and it needed a brand new one. Plus the spider injectors and LIM washers are starting to work, and I gave up and left it parked at the local store for half a year before selling it for $750 so the store wouldn’t sell it as Scrap.

The previous owner also hid a bent subframe, did something terrible to the headlight wiring so I had to run new wiring and relays for the whole thing, and it there was a very good aftermarket remote at first until it randomly started up and ran dry the tank. The font seat eventually became loose, I had to put a U bolt under it to hold it in place, it needed the oil line twice (the oil filter was in front of the radiator because having a 4WD means 4.3L doesn’t. may have the oil filter in its normal position), and the driver’s side door falls off.

This is a vehicle for someone young and single and unencumbered by responsibilities other than a lousy job that you can always get a ride on if your Blazer is on the blocks, or as a second vehicle you put the tire on mud and hoon until it explodes because, again, the S10 Blazer. It’s not a vehicle for a new dad who also needs to take his mom and grandma to her monthly doctor appointments two hours away. After two failed attempts, once on my way to surgery at 10 a.m., I had to start renting a car just to get to those appointments – money I realized could pay for a new, reliable car. much more reliable. I want to love this car. I like the idea of ​​having a traditional SUV, with all-wheel drive and ruggedness. Blazer is definitely “rugged”, in the same way an old house is rugged.
