An insignificant amount destiny 2 players missed a cutscene early in the story of the new Season of Defiance. It’s a pity because without it, countless players would have missed the chance to hear Crow, everyone’s favorite cherished character, call himself “athlete”.
The cutscene, which is supposed to play after the player completes their first part challenge battlefield, saw us catch up with Amanda Holliday, the shipwright of the Last City and Crow. Unfortunately for Crow, who surprised Amanda and your Guardian just as they were clearing a fight, Amanda shot and killed him, though he was revived by Ghost shortly after. The rest of the scene plays out the growing tension between Amanda and Crow, who became best friends before she discovers that he, in a previous life, murdered her friend Cayde-6 in her previous life. the events of the now-destroyed expansion, Forsaken.
The cutscene, at least to me, doesn’t seem to appear to a lot of players after completing the Battlefield Challenge mission as part of Season of Challenges. While most of the habitual Destiny 2 players simply exit the quest after they’ve been defeated, many replies to the tweet above note that they wait past the countdown that often appears, just to scene does not play. Apparently, many players didn’t even realize they missed a cutscene until they saw other people talking about it online.
Considering the fact that the story between these two characters was front and center at the start of this season, it’s safe to say that they could be integral for the rest of Season of Challenges. Here’s hoping there will be no more player-miss scenes as the story unfolds over the next few months.
