The witness heard the Dolphins owner offer to give Flores money ‘tank’?
One of the particularly damning allegations in the class-action lawsuit filed by former Miami Dolphins Head coach Brian Flores on Tuesday is that the owner of the Dolphins? Stephen Ross offered Flores $100,000 per loss in the 2019 NFL season so the club could “raise” for the best possible pick in the 2020 draft.
That part of the story took an interesting turn on Wednesday when Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network One witness is said to have reported that he heard Ross offer Flores that exact amount for each loss several seasons ago. Wolfe added that Flores’ team has evidence to back up this allegation, including a message from general manager Chris Grier:
