Operahouse announced that the otome game The villain is loved by the prince of the neighboring country is now available to play on PC via Steam. Although the title will appear in Japanese on the page above the buy button, it includes both English and Japanese options as subtitles. However, only Japanese dubbing is available.
In this otome game, the player is reincarnated in an isekae story as the villain of a famous fictional game. The heroine knows how the story will play out, and as Tiararose, she knows her fiancé Prince Hartknights will abandon her to pursue the “player character” heroine. However, we find out that the prince of the neighboring kingdom attended the same school as the two people who fell in love with her during their time together. So he proposes when the engagement is called off, giving Tiararose another option and giving us a new love story.

As a reminder, like The villain is loved by the prince of the neighboring country based on the light novel and manga, it is primarily set up so that the player sees Tiararose dating and falling in love with Aquasteed. That was the “prince of the neighboring kingdom” mentioned in the title. However, there are some romantic interactions with other characters. The Steam listing also features additional “what if” stories with other characters.
The product page also confirms some other details about the PC release. For example, there are Steam Achievements to earn in this version. Those things are not present inside Switch release. However, there is no confirmation that it is compatible with Steam Deck.
Operahouse also notes that there is a temporary launch discount valid until October 13, 2024. Instead of being $39.99, it is temporarily $31.99.
