Three Arkansas police officers were filmed brutally beating a man during an arrest on Sunday, and all three have now been dismissed and are being investigated, their department confirmed.
CNN reports that two of the officers in the video are deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, while the third is an officer with the Mulberry Police Department.
Video taken by a bystander and posted on social media shows officers as they restrain a man, identified by Arkansas State Police as Randal Worcester, 27, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, and apparently punched him in the face and knee. side and back as he struggled to restrain himself.

Deputy injured while being handcuffed with suspect, wanted for threatening gas station staff
CNN reported, the person who uploaded the video to social media said that her sister saw the scene unfold outside a Kauntry Xpress in Mulberry.
Crawford County Sheriff Jimmy Damante told the store’s affiliate KHBS that Worcester was wanted for allegedly threatening a gas station employee in a nearby town.
Damante added that he initially cooperated, but then attempted to attack the officers, with further confrontation seen in the video.
Worcester was eventually taken to an area hospital before being taken to jail. The sheriff told KHBS.
He is currently being held on charges of second degree offence, resisting arrest, possession of criminal tools, trespassing, criminal mischief, terroristic threat as well as assault charges. first and second degrees, according to state and prison police records.
Crawford County prison records show he is on $15,000 bail.

Officers Take Administrative Leave While State Police Investigate the Case
“In connection with the viral video on social media involving two Crawford County Representatives, we have asked the Arkansas State Police to conduct an investigation and the Houses of Representatives have been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.” The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday in a posted statement. Meanwhile, the Mulberry Police Department confirmed that its officer was on administrative leave when the investigation ended.
“The City of Mulberry and the Mulberry Police Department take these investigations very seriously and hold all of their officers accountable for their actions,” Mulberry police said.
Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson similarly confirmed that state police would investigate the incident, according to CNN.
