PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for September: The Plucky Squire, Night in the Woods, Under The Waves and more

Jump between 2D and 3D worlds in a storybook adventure that literally jumps off the page, dive into the depths of the North Sea in a 1970s techno-future, reconnect with friends in a crumbling old mining town and more with the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for September*! The Plucky Squire launches every day on PlayStation Plus, with the flagship title joining Under The Waves, Night in the Woods and many more. We’re also announcing new classics and upcoming PS VR2 games on PlayStation Plus Premium, including action-packed rhythm shooter Pistol Whip. All of these games will be available from September 17.

Brave Squire | PS5

Plucky Squire follows the magical adventures of Jot and his friends – fairy tale characters who discover a three-dimensional world outside the pages of their books. When the evil Humgrump realizes he is the book’s villain – destined to lose the war with the forces of good forever – he kicks heroic Jot out of the pages and changes the story forever. Beneath the Waves | PS4, PS5

Under the Waves is a story-driven adventure game about the submersible power of grief. A love letter to the ocean, Under The Waves invites you to dive into a stunning underwater world, brought to life in a poetic blend of cinematic visuals and immersive storytelling. Live a gripping story through Stan’s eyes and guide him through a series of unforeseen events that will take him deeper and deeper into the abyss, a reflection of his own psyche.

Night in the Woods | PS4, PS5

College dropout Mae Borowski returns to her hometown of Possum Springs, looking to pick up her old, aimless life and reconnect with the friends she left behind. But things aren’t the same. The house seems different and her friends have grown and changed. Leaves are falling and the wind is getting colder. Strange things are happening as the light fades. And there’s something in the woods. Night in The Woods is an adventure game focused on exploration, story, and character, with dozens of characters to meet and plenty to do in a lush, vibrant world. Smash things, play the bass, hang out, walk on power lines, jump between rooftops, and discover weird, wonderful, and terrible things you never asked for.

Chernobylite | PS4, PS5

Chernobylite is a sci-fi survival horror RPG from developer Farm 51. Set in the surreal 3D-scanned wasteland of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, you play as Igor, a physicist and former employee of the Chernobyl Power Plant, who returns to Pripyat to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée, 30 years ago. Compete with hostile military presence, other stalkers and supernatural creatures, as well as a harsh and unforgiving environment on your quest for the truth. Get ready for a thrilling adventure of survival, intrigue, horror, love and obsession.

Wild Card Soccer | PS4, PS5

Wild Card Football is a fun, pick-and-play arcade-style football game that features 7v7 team-centric gameplay with a unique Wild Card system that allows you to change the course of the game on the fly with special powers and rule-breaking abilities. With optimized rulesets, customizable teams and kits, authentic professional players and flamboyant moves, players can showcase their skills in competitive single-player and multiplayer modes, and use ‘Wild Cards’ to redefine the football genre and unleash ultimate action.

Space Engineer | PS4, PS5

Space Engineers is a sandbox game about engineering, construction, exploration, and survival in space and on planets. Players build spaceships, wheeled vehicles, space stations, planetary outposts of various sizes and uses (civilian and military), pilot ships, and travel through space to explore planets and gather resources to survive. There are both creative and survival modes, with no limits to what can be built, used, and discovered. Space Engineers focuses on the construction and exploration aspects, but can also be played as a survival shooter.

Mr. Mosquito | PS4, PS5

You are Mr. Moskeeto, an uninvited guest in the Yamada family home. You will need to drink as much of their blood as possible to survive the winter. They know you are in the house and they plan to get you out. This PS2 version is now enhanced with rendering, rewind, quick save and custom video filters. Fly through and explore the 12 floors of the Yamada family home, searching for victims. Use stealth or prepare for dogfights as you fight the human inhabitants. Watch the family’s relationship fall apart as they take out their anger on each other.
