The next new Hiro Mashima anime series will be adapted from the recently released Marvelous game farm. The film is scheduled for release in Japan on January 10, 2025, and Marvelous just released the film’s trailer along with a key art image. [Thanks, Comic Natalie!]
Marvelous also revealed the staff for the new anime series. Shinji Ishihira will serve as general manager farm anime, with Akihiko Sano as director. Studio Bridge will also be involved in animation. Ishihira previously directed the anime adaptation of the Hiro Mashima series fairy tail And Edens Zeroas Horizon Login cartoon. Sano and studio Bridge were also involved fairy tail develop.
It was also revealed that the Japanese voice cast for the game would also reprise their roles from the anime series. The opening theme song of the new anime is “Life is Beautiful” and will be performed by Asian Kung-Fu Generation, while the ending theme song is titled “miss-dystopia” by the band Sokoninaru. Hiro Mashima was responsible for the character designs for the original farm game and will return in the upcoming series.
