Sports icon Lisa Curry stunned fans and judges when she appeared on Monday night’s episode of The Masked Singer.
And now host Osher Günsberg has revealed an emotional behind-the-scenes moment that viewers didn’t get to see.
The 48-year-old said Lisa told him during filming she wanted to enter the quirky singing contest because she needed to be ‘cheerful’.

The 60-year-old Olympic swimming legend is still grieving the death of her daughter Jaimi Kenny aged 33 in 2020.
Osher explained that after Lisa admitted to being heartbroken, he was so emotional that he hugged the sports star.
He said her comment was edited out of the show before it aired.
He told followers: “Thank goodness they cut it off because I legally ripped the body.

‘I can’t sing but I’m cute,’ Lisa laughed after taking off her mask.
‘The caterpillars can’t sing, you know, but we’ve turned into butterflies. And that I can do. Well, at my age, I’d probably turn into a moth,’ she laughed.
