The Last of Us Episode 4: The Trip That Troubled Joel and Ellie

The trailer for episode 4 of The Last of Us is out. HBO dropped a preview for next week’s post-apocalyptic episode based on the PlayStation video game of the same name, revealing a new character in the form of Kathleen, a ruthless leader of a revolutionary movement in Kansas City. Melanie Lynskey, best known for her role in Yellowjackets, will play the role – signaling big trouble for our survivors duo Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey). Titled “Take My Hand,” the episode will be directed by Jeremy Webb (The Umbrella Academy) and is said to be just 50 minutes long — significantly shorter than episode 3’s 75 minutes. Episode 4 of The Last of Us will premiere February 6 at 8:30 a.m. IST / February 5 at 9 p.m. ET on Disney+ Hotstar and HBO Max respectively.
