Hedge funds and asset managers are speculating on the yen, enhancing the swings of a currency often seen as a haven during tough times.
The Yen rose Wednesdaywith the dollar at one point depreciating more than 2% against the Japanese currency after new data showed US eases inflation. The yen was little changed on Thursday.
