Cynthia Erivo is looking good in green! The actress, 36, was spotted fully transforming into Elphaba in the first photos taken of her from the set. sinister set in the UK, where she filmed with Ariana Grande in the past few months. Cynthia was also photographed on a machine that would presumably make her look like she was hovering over the Yellow Brick Road. At one point, it was discovered that a stuntman was with her and it is likely that she filmed the captured flying scene. The photos originate from the scene at Hankley Common, located in Surrey, England. Although Ariana, 29, was nowhere to be found, the first photos of her on set surfaced last week.
Ariana looks like she was made to be Glinda in leaked photos from the set, which can be seen This. She exuded a “Good Witch” vibe in a lavender evening gown that featured sequin embellishments throughout. Her long blonde hair was pulled back but styled down and curled, and a beautiful tiara was worn on her head. She also carries a wand that is several feet long, transparent, and has a twinkling star on top.

Cynthia’s photo shows her not looking at the camera while standing steady on the clock tower. She also has a broom in her hand. Meanwhile, Ariana’s photo shows her in a vibrant pink evening gown climbing a seemingly endless staircase. “Green & Pink. Previously, the hit “thank u, next” was given to fans first glimpse of her as Glinda in an October 2022 selfie of her side profile. The image shows her blonde hair, tied into a ponytail. The moon tattoo on the left side of her neck is also visible, though it’s likely to be covered up in the movie.
Ariana and Cynthia’s casting was first announced in November 2021 and both have expressed excitement ever since. “I love [Ariana]really,” Erivo said to Diversity in September 2022. “She’s funny, incredibly talented, incredibly sweet, and really hard working. Meanwhile, Ariana said she thinks she “fainting” when posting her first picture as Glinda that her director shared. The original Glinda herself, Kristin Chenoweth, it was also recently revealed that Ariana kept calling her to ask for advice about the movie. “She said she wanted to pay tribute to me but said ‘I’m really scared, I want to make you proud’. Well, she made me proud already. Finished. Check,” the 54-year-old star recalled on The Kelly Clarkson Show in April. “[Ariana] call me and say ‘This is what I have to do, what do you think?’ I can’t wait to see her do it.
