The Fabelmans FIRST LOOK: Trailer for Steven Spielberg’s semi-autobiographical film released


Universal bosses released the first trailer and images for The Fabelmans just hours after the film made its world premiere on day three of the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival in Canada on Sunday.

The trailer opens with the words ‘movies are the dreams you never forget’ as Michelle Williams’ character Mitzi Fabelman tells her aspiring young filmmaker son Sammy.

A nostalgic look at their 60s lives then as Sammy’s fascination and passion for cinema unfolds on screen.

After a screening at the Toronto International Film Festival, Steven said of the film according to The Hollywood Reporter: ‘This movie is a way of bringing my mom and dad back.
