Whenever our body experiences any external, internal or environmental trigger, it affects our overall functioning and this causes an imbalance of Tridoshas. Many factors can cause hair problems such as hair loss, hair breakage or loss, dryness, dullness and graying of hair. Even factors such as seasonal changes, foods that are too spicy, acidic, fermented, salty and high in preservatives can cause hair loss. Ayurvedic hair care regimen Kesha Herbs are specialized Ayurvedic herbs that promote healthy hair and scalp growth and prevent hair loss. Shiroabhyangam

Self-care is an integral part of the Ayurvedic lifestyle, where Shiroabhyangam is a head massage ritual that takes care of the Hair, relaxes the mind and body and ensures nourishment of the scalp.

Method:

1) Take a Kansa bowl and warm the oil with the double boiling method, which helps to activate the herbs and oils to penetrate deeper into the hair follicles.

2) Apply the oil by braiding and then massaging the scalp with kneading finger movements to enhance blood circulation and relax the scalp.

3) Leave this oil on for at least 45 minutes before washing your hair with Sulphate & Paraben Free Shampoo.

DIY hair mask

To condition your hair, make it thick and strong, make your own homemade hair mask from your kitchen. Mix ½ cup of aloe vera gel with 1 tablespoon of castor oil and apply to the scalp. Leave overnight and wash off the next day. You can also use the pulp of fresh hibiscus leaves crushed with fenugreek seeds, apply for 15-20 minutes and wash as usual. To deal with scalp problems like dandruff and seasonal infections, infuse Neem leaves and filter the water. Use this water as the final rinse in your hair wash.

To protect Hair, we must ensure the balance of tridoshas in the body, as any external or internal factors stimulate hair loss. Here are some hair care tips mentioned in Ayurvedic texts:

Never wash your hair with hot water; It is recommended to use cold water or water at normal temperature to ensure the health of Hair and strong roots.

Try to avoid using heat devices to dry or style your hair. It’s always best to let your hair dry naturally.

Never brush your hair when it is wet, as they are weakest during this time. Instead, wait until it dries and then use a wooden comb to detangle it as it reduces static electricity and distributes the oil secretion evenly.

Always condition your hair before bathing with Ayurvedic hair conditioner.
