The commander’s Antonio Gandy-Golden retires after two seasons
The Washington CommandersHead coach Ron Rivera announced Thursday: ‘2020 4th round selection Antonio Gandy-Golden will retire after two NFL seasons and intends to return to school.
Gandy-Golden, 24, played on the wide field at Liberty, where he finished with 3,722 yards and 32 touchdowns over four seasons. In two seasons playing for Command, he only caught a three-yard pass. At the beginning of this season, he started the transition to the tight end with Rivera saying that the upgraded version of Gandy-Golden has a chance to be a contributor to the Washington attack.
