The British High Commissioner to India was very fond of Onam Sadhya in Delhi; Shared videos
The 10-day Onam festival, which begins on August 30, culminates with massive celebrations across the country. The harvest festival in Kerala marks the return to the homeland of the mythical king Mahabali. Besides flower decoration, ringtones, boat racing and folk dances, Onam Sadhya is the highlight of the festival. A typical Onam Sadhya feast has 24 vegetarian dishes served on banana leaves. British High Commissioner to India Alex Ellis also joined the celebration of Onam at Kerala House in Delhi, in the traditional way. He even shared a short video on Twitter, showing us his Onam Sadhya spread.
“I had a wonderful Onam Sadhya at Kerala House. Congratulations Onam to everyone who is celebrating,” Alex Ellis wrote in the tweet. He even wished his friends and followers “Onashamsakal” through the post.
