During the eighth day of operation, the server at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi remained down and according to sources after suspending two analysts from Delhi, many more are being suspended for network security breaches.

Internet services following recommendations from investigative authorities will remain blocked in AIIMS Delhi.
The Laboratory Information System (LIS) database and other dependent databases have been restored.
Prior to that, AIIMS also issued a new set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) stating that admission, discharge, and patient transfer will be done manually at the hospital until E-Hospital is shut down. .
“The latest SOPs must be followed in manual mode until the e-Hospital ceases to operate. Hospitalization, discharge and transfer must be done manually at AIIMS, New Delhi. Indentation must be done manually at AIIMS, New Delhi. Right indentation done manually,” the hospital said.
It added that death certificates or birth certificates had to be handcrafted on forms according to the working committee’s guidelines.
“Only urgent forms are submitted, and that form must also be filled out. Only urgent investigations should be submitted with the forms in accordance with the working committee’s instructions,” it added.
