The Jockey Club announced on March 23 that the 2023 edition of the Book of Facts is available in its resources section. website.
The Fact Book Online is a statistical and informative guide to Thoroughbred breeding, racing and auctioning in North America and is updated quarterly. It also has a directory of Canadian, international, national and state organizations. Links to the breeding statistics report published by The Jockey Club every September and to the mares breeding information report published by The Jockey Club each October can be found in the breeding section of the Book of Facts.
This edition of the Information Book includes updates to mares bred reports and breeding statistics sections. Yuan can now sort by stallion name, number of mares bred and state. Breeding statistics can be sorted by year and then by stallion name, mares bred, reports received, ponies alive, percentage of live ponies and state. Both sections now have a search function.
The 2023 State Fact Book, which contains detailed breeding, racing and auction details specific to many Canadian states, provinces, and Puerto Rico, is also available on The Jockey Club website. The State Fact Book is updated monthly.
In 2021, The Jockey Club takes over production of the American Racing Manual from the Daily Racing Form and the latest edition will be available as part of the Information Book in the coming weeks.
