The 1994 classic ‘Little Big Adventure’ is getting a complete remake this year
We have some extremely vivid memories of playing the demo for the original Tiny adventure accompanied by a copy of the official PlayStation Magazine in the UK before we get the full game. It’s a unique thing weird title. You can change your stance depending on the situation; so if you want to hit a guard, you’ll switch to an ‘aggressive’ stance and throw a few punches before running away with an ‘athletic’ stance. Very good.
Now, in the fall of 2024, a full remake titled Big and Small Adventures – Twinsen’s Quest is coming to Nintendo Switch from Microids and the studio [2.21]Boasts completely revamped visuals, modern controls and numerous quality-of-life improvements.
The game aims to appeal to both newcomers and veterans, retaining as much of the original’s charm as possible while (hopefully) losing some of the outdated design choices. Original composer Phillipe Vachey also returned to improve the game’s music.
