Via Dan Ambrose: Tevin Farmer said he now believes the bout he hopes to fight Ryan Garcia in April is out of his reach because the Golden Boy promoted boxer “won” didn’t fight him.

Ryan predicts that he will KO Kambosos within seven rounds, and many boxing fans believe he will do so given the opportunity.

“I would love that chance to fight [Kambosos]. Hopefully, he wants it.

Whether the Kambosos can return and find a way to win as he did against Teofimo Lopez remains unclear.
Teofimo let out the gas, helping Kambosos win the crucial 11th and 12th rounds to mark his victory. Ryan hasn’t shown the same fitness issues that have plagued Teofimo’sefforts against the Kambosos.
With Ryan’s 8.7 million followers on Instagramhe would be a great pick for the Kambosos’ first title defense as the undisputed new lightweight champion.
Kambosos recently defeated previously undefeated champion Teofimo Lopez Jr last November in a grand prix at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Since winning the title, Kambosos has made it clear that he will call the shots and will choose who he wants for his next fight.
Ryan Garcia is one of four names Kambosos Jr mentioned are gearing up for his next battle in April.
In order for Ryan to be able to battle the proud and sometimes boastful Kambosos (20-0, 10 KOs), his promoters at Golden Boy Promotions will need to act fast, as Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn tried to set up a fight between his 135-lb WBC champion Devin Haney and the four-belt champion.
Haney (27-0, 15 KOs) struggled to get vaccinated to get to Australia so he could face the Kambosos at home.

What could hurt Farmer’s chances against Ryan Garcia is that he’s been out of the ring for two years and is about to lose to Joseph ‘Jojo’ Diaz Jr, and he’s not a household name to fans. young boxing.
