Nintendo has announced a new product Tetris 99 Crossover event adds theme based on online battle royale racer F-Zero 99.
This event will start this weekend on June 28 and run until July 1. To unlock this theme, you need to participate in Tetris 99 online mode (Switch Online subscription required) and earn event points. Once you have 100 event points, this topic is yours.
It has backgrounds, music, and a Tetrimino design inspired by F-Zero 99. Here’s a quick look:
This latest Tetris 99 event follows trophy events for games such as Princess Peach: It’s showtime! And Endless ocean: Shining. As for the F-Zero 99, it was updated in March – with new driving assistance functions and more. Nintendo also added the GBA game F-Zero to NSO in the same month.
