The sibling’s statement comes four days after Gwyneth testified about the trip, where she denied responsibility – saying Sanderson “decisively hit me on that ski slope, and it’s true .” She also said that she initially thought that it was sexual assault. “It was a thought that crossed my mind. There’s a weird grunt and a body behind me, so I’m trying to understand what’s going on. “My mind went very fast,” she said.

The Shakespeare in love the vet, who was skiing with her boyfriend at the time, is being sued by Sanderson for $300,000 in damages after alleging she crashed into him on the slopes and then quickly leave without care. Gwyneth is suing for $1 and legal fees, saying Sanderson just wants to cash in on her fame and wealth.

The lawsuit was first filed in January 2019. The jury is expected to begin deliberations on Thursday, March 30.
