Part of the collection are fabrics made in collaboration with Orange Fiber, a company that has patented and produced the first textile fiber extracted from citrus waste. This new fabric is 100% natural and completely sustainable, derived from citrus by-products that would otherwise have to be discarded.
The orange fiber is obtained by giving a second life to the wet waste remaining at the end of the orange juice production process, removed from the amount used and reused in cosmetics, and treated. and converted into cellulose for textiles and then into fibers.
The result is a fabric in neutral colors, a blend of cotton and linen, ready for clothes that are beautiful and care about the future of the planet.

Following its debut in the July 2022 edition of Milano Unica, Tessuti di Sondrio continues the Herbarium project, a collection of fabrics made from organic cotton fibers that are dyed naturally using plants, flowers and roots. .
These fabrics are dyed with a special dye made from a decoction of only the edible parts of indigo, ivy, various woods, pomegranate and now camphor and tannin.
Thanks to the dyeing method, in which GOTS certified organic fibers are dipped in the tea making, they obtained 100% cotton fabric with a unique, natural colour.
