Tesla’s Big plans to expand its footprint German factory currently on hold. The unfortunate news for the automaker comes after the plan was dropped off the agenda of the local city council.

Tesla doesn’t give exact production figures right now, but it does say it’s making 1,000 vehicles a week over the summer. The company plans to quadruple production to 5,000 vehicles per week by the first quarter of 2023. It is being done in an effort to achieve Tesla’s goal of being produce 2 million cars next year.
