Telangana Politician YS Sharmila’s Car Towed Away By Cops With Her In It

YS Sharmila’s car was towed after she joined her party’s protest rally
Shocking scenes took place on the streets of Hyderabad today as a crane dispatched by the police towed away the vehicle of YS Sharmila, Telangana politician and sister of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, while she was still sitting inside.
Ms Sharmila’s YSR Telangana party launched an attack against the government of K Chandrashekar Rao, and she was detained yesterday following a clash between her supporters and those working for Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) ruling in Warangal. Ms. Sharmila’s Padayatra, which covers about 3,500 km so far, has targeted the KCR-led government, accusing it of large-scale corruption.
This morning, she joined the party protest rally to Pragati Bhavan, the official residence of Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. As soon as she started getting into the car, police dispatched a crane to tow the car through the streets of the city.
The image shows her sitting in the car as the crane towed it and her supporters and media followed. The image also shows the car’s windshield cracked, damaged in yesterday’s collision.
