He doesn’t understand! Roommates, Tekashi 6ix9ine, was trying to get away with paying damages for his participation in the robbery of two people on April 3, 2018. If you recall, in 2020, Seketha Wonzer and Kevin Dozier were sue him for guilt and grief. The two claim that 6ix9ine injured them and ruined their lives after members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods robbed them of them in an identity mistake.
According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, 6ix9ine admits he’s nearing bankruptcy, has no record contracts and is struggling to maintain his lifestyle. In the statement, 6ix9ine revealed, “Currently, I am struggling to make a living. I don’t know if I’ll ever command the kind of advance I was paid for before my arrest, and my career stalled.”
Reports say the Brooklyn rapper’s deal with TenTholions Projects expired last month and he hasn’t released music since his 2020 album ‘TattleTales’. 6ix9ine has no publishing contract. However, his royalty account remains unsupported due to the substantial advance payments he has accepted. In addition, he does not receive any income from the agreement.
6ix9ine also wrote in the statement, “It will definitely bankrupt me in such a way that I will never recover from the permanent harm and hardship of family members who rely on me.” 6ix9ine says the income he receives supports himself, his two young children and their mother. He also supports his mother and brother.
Currently, Judge John P. Cronan has not said the amount of damages 6ix9ine will be liable to pay to Seketha and Kevin, but it could be in the millions.
