Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection announced, has 13 games

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga Collection has been announced and it combines 13 TMNT games into one collection.

Revealed in today’s PlayStation State of Play, this collection features remakes of classic TMNT games like Tournament Fighters, Turtles In Time, TMNT: The Arcade Game, and more. On top of that, the co-action op can be found in some games, with some games also featuring online multiplayer, as indicated by the message at the end of the trailer stating that PlayStation Plus is needed to play online multiplayer.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is a collection of 13 previously released video games from Arcade, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, Sega Genesis, and Nintendo Gameboy,” the description for the trailer reads. “Incredibly popular and influential games, this collection offers a unique opportunity for players to experience these titles with a host of new amazing quality of life features. ”

  • Added online play for some games: TMNT (Arcade), TMNT: Turtles in Time (Arcade), TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist, TMNT: Tournament Fighters (SNES)

The Cowabunga Collection doesn’t have a release date yet, but the reveal trailer says it will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC sometime this year. It will cost $39.99. Don’t forget that a brand new TMNT game, Shredder’s Revenge, will also come this year. Looks like it’s been a great year to be a Turtles fan.
