Wesley Ward formerly trained No, never features two of TDN’s Rising Stars, Ballydoyle’s Deneuve (cartoon) and Aesop’s Fables (pony), over a three-day period in Ireland. That also makes it five winners out of seven underage athletes for Mr. O’Brien this season. Roll on Ascot…
History begin?
This year, we have not one, not two, but seven stallions with the potential to win the Derby-Oaks Double, something that hasn’t happened since Native Dancer selected the winners of both. race 56 years ago. In the 147-year history of the Derby-Oaks, this feat has been accomplished exactly four times.

Chad Schumer was the top buyer at OBS last week, taking home 15 horses for $3.03 million. They range from $30,000 Kantharos colt (Hip 1192) to $800,000 Evenly filthy (Hip 1139).
McCraken throw firecrackers…
The Airdrie Stud stallions continued to roll out winners as this freshman stallion announced his first starter and winner at the always competitive Keeneland Spring meet. Crackalacking is a runner that sold in modest amounts — $15,000 at KEEJAN and $20,000 KEESEP last year — who enabled the field to add five lengths.
