Taylor Made Stallions’ Tacitus represented by First Foals


Taylor Made Stallions’ MGSW tacitus (faucet) out of MGISW Close Hatches, mating the first ponies was reported in New York on Monday, January 16. The arrivals were a foal born at Waldorf Ranch from a Super mare. Stone of the Bustin Stones, bred by Jerry Bilinski, DVM, and a stout produced from the SW Courageous Cat female, Lady Joan, bred by Century Irish Hill Farm and raised there.

“She is what I was expecting a tacitus what the foal will look like,” said Rick Burke of Century Irish Farm. “She has many legs and good bones. She looks a lot like him.”

A cross at Juddmonte ranch trained by Bill Mott, tacitus won the 2019 GII Tampa Bay Derby and the GII Wood Memorial. He finished third in the Kentucky Derby that year, and finished second in both GI Belmont S. and GI Travers S. tacituswho topped the 2023 season for $10,000 S&N, bred 188 mares in his first book.
