The tata nexon facelift has been discovered several timesand as we reported earlier, Nexon’s innovation will on sale in August this year. And while all the images so far have only given us glimpses of the exterior design, we now have our first images of the Nexon facelift’s interior. Like the exterior, the updated Nexon’s interior will also borrow a lot of words curve concept. In fact, the spy images hint at a major overhaul of the interior with a significant upgrade in equipment level and quality.

Revealing the interior of the facelift version of Tata Nexon
Spy images of Nexon’s facelifted interior reveal that the updates will be as comprehensive as the exterior. The most prominent feature visible is the new flat-bottomed, two-spoke steering wheel seen on the Curvv concept. The steering wheel has a few toggle switches on either end along with some tactile sensitive buttons. The most interesting thing about this steering wheel, at least in concept form, is the seamlessly integrated backlit Tata logo, although it remains to be seen whether it will ever make it to production.
What is also partially visible is the redesigned center console with a new touch panel and on/off switches for HVAC control, which is again a direct upgrade from Curvv concept. Inevitability, Tata’s new 10.25 inch touch screen will also be made available and that means the entire dashboard will likely be redesigned. This also suggests that there could be an upgrade in quality and level of equipment, with the new digital instrument cluster now seen on the new model. Harrier and Safari Red Dark Version.
What is also clearly visible is the lower center console area which, however, remains largely unchanged. The drive mode selector has been preserved, the gear lever has been slightly redesigned, while the manual handbrake and wireless charger are retained. The spy images also preview a new purple upholstery for the seats.

Tata Nexon facelift is expected to receive updated powertrain
All Tata models, including the Nexon, have recently been upgraded to meet BS 6 Phase II quota. We are told that the facelift of the Nexon will have an all-new 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine already previewed with Curvv ICE concept. This new engine produces 125 hp and 225 Nm, 5 hp and 55 Nm more than the current engine. The Nexon facelift will continue with a 115hp 1.5-liter diesel. At the moment, there is still no clarity on automatic transmission options for the Nexon facelift.
Tata Nexon upgrade production details, release time
Sources tell us that mass production for the Nexon facelift will begin in July 2023 and that Tata Motors will produce around 15,000 combined for the petrol and diesel models. The Nexon electric car Facelift production will also begin around that time, and 5,000 units are expected to be produced each month.
Pricing for the Nexon facelift will be announced in August 2023 and it will cost more than the out-of-showroom price of Rs 7.80 lakh-14.35 lakh of the current model. When it launches, it will continue to compete with names like Kia sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Location Hyundai, Mahindra XUV300 And Maruti Brezza.
