“I think it’s too long,” said England’s opener.
“I believe I’m the only one to play in that game tomorrow. Danni Wyatt is on the team but I don’t think anyone else here has actually played at Lord for England (Wyatt played there). in 2011 and 2012).
“I think it’s definitely been too long. Some girls are missing their chance to come back for years – hopefully Heather (Knight) and Nat (Sciver) will carry on and Katherine (Brunt) is likely.

Both Heather Knight and Nat Sciver have gone missing for England, but Beaumont believes playing at Lord will be a pivotal moment for some young players.

“I think even in recent history, the history of women’s cricket and not even being allowed in rooms like this (The Long Room) as a woman, I think you see cricket has evolved over time but also remember and appreciate the past as Good.
“So it’s a great place to play and it’s great to know that we’ve sold a lot of tickets to the game, to be playing in such a big stadium, so it’s great and a great place to be. great to play.”
