Talents Lineapiù, has decided the winner in the final edition of Talents Lineapiù.
Established in 2017 to reward the talent and diligence of young brands that stand out in the use of yarns and the quality of knitwear, Talents Lineapiù is the program that the yarn manufacturer Lineapiù Italia wants to support. young fashion talents for their creativity to be expressed through knitwear.

The contest – which selects and awards one talent each season – is open to those who have worked in the fashion industry. The winners are sponsored by Lineapiù for two years, i.e. for four seasons, through yarns that they can use for their sample collections.

Sonia Martinez, born and raised in Valencia, Spain, studied fashion at the European Institute of Design in Madrid and joined the design team RTW of Alexander McQueen and later Céline under Phoebe’s guidance. Philo.

The winner of the Honor Award recommended by Lineapiù for his creative proposal is Chet Lo, a New York-based designer living and working in London. He graduated from a knitting course in 2020 at Central Saint Martin – University of the Arts London, and became passionate about fabrics and the endless possibilities and creativity that knitwear can bring. His ready-to-wear focuses on a futuristic atmosphere, though enhanced by nostalgic notes, punctuated by his fascination with old Japanese manga.
His ready-to-wear s/s 2023 collection is inspired by a Buddhist story of his youth in which many arrows are shot in the direction of Buddha and then turn into flowers. : a range of fitted knitwear with curved cuts representing the marks left by the arrows. In his outfit are the ‘spiky’ elements that characterize his creations and flashy accessories.
