In a year rife with delays, Metal Slug Tactics is the latest game to come out next year. Publisher Dotemu has announced that the tactical spin-off of the popular shooter needs more time to come together and will be released in 2023.
The tweet, embedded below, doesn’t explain more than that. We haven’t heard much about the game since it revealed last summermakes us wonder if the delay is happening.
Metal Slug Tactics is one of the nice surprises of E3 2021. The game, developed by Leikir Studio, transforms the explosive shooter action genre of the series into a brick-based tactical experience that retains its style. Metal Slug’s signature style and tone.
