TAA Offers Lexitonian Season’s February 6 Auction


The Thoroughbred Post-Care Alliance will provide a 2023 spawning season for tier 1 winners Lexitonian for auction on February 6 from 6-9 p.m. ET, it was announced on February 4.

Sponsored by coach Jack Sisterson, the offer is for an unsecured season in 2023 with a return. Standing at Lane’s End with an advertised $7,500 fee for ponies and nurses, the first Lexitonian ponies will arrive this year. The son of Sightstown won the 2021 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap (G1) for owner/breeder Calumet Farm.

“He had talent, will and heart,” Sisterson said. “He’s a top performer, winning and placing second in multiple 1st grade races. I’ve had a lot of faith in him throughout his career because you can control him. he’s on any track and he always knows what to do.” so many wonderful opportunities came to our barn, for which we are forever grateful—without the horses, we wouldn’t be here. I am delighted to have this opportunity to repay these wonderful horses.”
