ISLAMABAD: After Zimbabwe the president made a ferocious attack on Pakistan in his cryptic congratulatory tweet for his country’s sad victory in T20 World Cup on Thursday, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif answered with a subtle dig.
Sharif responded to the Zimbabwean President’s tweet and wrote, “We may not have the real Mr Bean, but we have a real spirit of ranking.. and we Pakistanis have a funny habit of bouncing back.” 🙂 Mr. President: Congratulations. Your team played very well today “accompanied by a clapping emoji.

President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa on Thursday congratulated baseball team after the victory over Pakistan; however, he raised eyebrows with his witty statement that he was headed for Pakistan. He wrote, “What a win for Zimbabwe! Congratulations Chevrons. Next time, send the real Mr Bean… # PakvsZim”

President Emmerson had a fight with Pakistani comedian Asif Muhammad, a Mr Bean doppelganger who went to Zimbabwe in 2016 posing as the actual Mr Bean, a character that actor Rowan Atkinson originally played.
The Pakistan Cricket Council posted a post on their official Twitter account about the team’s players practicing before the match against Zimbabwe, to which one Twitter user, Ngugi Chasura, responded by saying said, “As Zimbabweans, we won’t forgive you… you used to call us Mr. Pak Bean cheating instead of Mr Bean Rowan.. we’ll solve the problem tomorrow just pray to God. rain will save you… # ZIMVSPAK.”

Now, Prime Minister Sharif’s response is being hailed by Pakistani cricket fans, who call it “Sixer!!!”
