A big blow has been inflicted on India as the star pacer Jasionary Bumrah was excluded from the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022, which begins October 16, due to a back injury on Monday.

The BCCI The medical team removed Bumrah from the T20 World Cup squad and the decision was made after a detailed assessment and consultation with experts.
Bumrah was initially dropped from the ongoing three-match T20I series against South Africa due to back injury.
BCCI will soon be naming a replacement for Bumrah.
