A big blow has been inflicted on India as the star pacer Jasionary Bumrah was excluded from the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022, which begins October 16, due to a back injury on Monday.
Bumrah said he is grateful for all the wishes, concern and support received from his loved ones.
“I regret that I will not be able to participate in this T20 World Cup, but thank you very much for the wishes, care and support that I have received from my loved ones. When I recover, I will cheer for you. dancing for the team through their campaign in Australia,” Bumrah tweeted.

The BCCI The medical team removed Bumrah from the T20 World Cup squad and the decision was made after a detailed assessment and consultation with experts.
Bumrah was initially dropped from the ongoing three-match T20I series against South Africa due to back injury.
BCCI will soon be naming a replacement for Bumrah.
