Synthesia 2.0 reinvents AI video creation for businesses

Personal AI avatar

In Synthesia 2.0, users can create their avatars in two ways: visit the studio and film their own footage using HD camera or by filming at home on their phone or webcam. The new avatars will feature improved lip sync and natural-sounding voices. The new avatar will also allow users to duplicate their voice in over 30 languages.

AI video assistant

Synthesia’s AI video assistant can already assist with script writing. Users choose a template, write a prompt, and upload any documents they have for context. They can also specify tone, length, and preferred audience. AI Video Assistant will then create a draft of the video.

Starting next month with version 2.0, AI Video Assistant will build branding elements such as fonts, logos, and colors into each video to ensure continuity throughout the content. The assistant will also be able to create videos in bulk. AI Screen Recorder

This new feature creates seamless videos from screen recordings, automating the editing process with intuitive support. The feature aims to streamline the steps of creating tutorial videos with screen-recorded content, which often means switching between several apps. In version 2.0, “once recording is complete, the video will be available for editing immediately, with transcribed voiceover, perfect match to screenshots, and an automatic zoom effect to tap strong key actions,” the release explains. Personalized video player

Synthesia is building personalized video viewing software with more advanced translation capabilities. Currently, Synthesia allows users to automatically translate their videos into over 120 languages; 2.0 upgrades this feature and eases file management by using source files to keep other language versions up to date. If users need to update the original video, Synthesia will automatically update other language versions for consistency without creating multiple files.

Another feature is a video player that has an interactive and personalized real-time viewing experience. Starting next month, users can share their videos via Synthesia’s player and they will automatically play in the viewer’s language.
