Social networks Sydney Ellie and Charlie Aitken have reunited after a tumultuous year that saw their 19-year marriage fall apart.
The couple, who confirmed their split in May, are currently vacationing together in Italy with their two children and Ellie’s mother Celia.
The Aitkens flew business class to Europe before spending time in Capri on a superyacht, the Daily Telegraph reports.

Photos shared on social media show the whole family smiling as they spend time together to celebrate son William’s 9th birthday.
However, it is still unclear whether the former couple will officially get back together in a romantic way.

Ellie’s life is turned upside down when her businessman husband Charlie runs away with her best friend Hollie Nasser – ending two marriages – in late 2021.
The move sent shockwaves through their crowded suburbs, especially since Hollie was not only Ellie’s best friend but also married to Christopher, Charlie’s business partner.

In May, Daily Mail Australia revealed that Hollie and Charlie had quietly broken up, showing the overwhelming public pressure on them.
Hollie later confirmed the news to the Sunday Confidential, telling them through a statement that the relationship was over and she was focusing on her children.
‘Regarding my private life; My focus is on my daughters, I have chosen not to be in a relationship,’ Ms Nasser said.

She went on to praise her estranged husband, Christopher Nasser, saying the couple are working together to raise their children together.

“The past nine months have been very difficult and I have expressed my apologies to my family and those involved,” she finished.
