Swiggy Swaps Motorcycle With Dragon Icon. This Is Why
New Delhi:
Another kingdom has knelt before the dragon-sigil Targaryens, but this time it’s your friendly neighborhood orange-clad delivery army, Swiggy.
To promote the new Game of Thrones spin-off, House of the Dragon, Swiggy changed the usual icon of a man on a motorcycle on the delivery tracking interface to a dragon.

“Fire will reign, hunger will not. Our dragon rider is on his way,” reads the new text on the food delivery app.
Fans enjoyed the show’s innovative promotion, which became HBO’s most successful series premiere. One user tweeted, “I didn’t expect a dragon to deliver to me.”
“My Swiggy Delivery CEO is a dragon. Some creative promotions are going on for House of the Dragon. Brb, time to binge,” another user wrote.

A third user compared this change to a recent incident in which a man believed to be Swiggy’s delivery executive seen on a horse. “You guys are delivering me a dragon. As if horses weren’t enough,” the user wrote.
