Susan Wojcicki steps down as CEO of YouTube
NEWYORK: Susan Wojcicki is resigning as CEO at YouTube after nine years as the head of the social media platform.
In a blog post, Wojcicki said she’ll be spending her time “focusing on family, health, and personal projects that I’m passionate about.”
Neal Mohan will become the new CEO.
Wojcicki said Thursday that she will help with the CEO transition, but in the long run she will take on an advisory role on Google and Alphabet.
