Susan Lucci made a stylish appearance for the Writers’ Guild Awards on Sunday, March 5. former soap opera star, 76 years old, wearing an all-black outfit when appearing on the red carpet of the awards ceremony. The outing comes more than a year after Susan underwent her second heart surgery in four years in January 2022. She seemed in high spirits throughout the ceremony.
On the red carpet, Susan sported a black tank top over a transparent, black dress, which appeared to have some colorful glitter on it. The All my children star Complete the look with a pair of silver heels with a black toe. She paired it with sparkling silver earrings and a bracelet, as well as a matching watch.
With serious heart surgery just over a year ago, Susan said she’s “doing great” in a red carpet interview with Everybody. Before that, she opened up about how she felt when she had a near-fatal heart attack in 2018 in one exclusive interview with hollywood life at the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection Concert in February. “I felt like an elephant was pressing on my chest. And he had two stents placed that night. And I was released the next day,” she said.
At the Writers Guild Awards, Susan presented Best Writing in a Daytime Drama to Our living days. She seemed very happy to give the award to Lorraine Broderick, whom she had the opportunity to work with in the past. The actress shared Photo hug her on stage and congratulate her Instagram. She wrote: “I am the lucky one to have the honor of presenting Best Article in Daytime Drama at the prestigious Writers Guild Awards. “I have had the honor, thrill and joy of being inspired by her writing to me as Erica Kane on AMC.”
Since her terrible heart attack, Susan has been very outspoken advocate for heart health. She has partnered with the American Heart Association for her “Empower Your Heart” jewelry line, with a portion of the profits going to AMH.
