It’s only been a month since Ketanji Brown Jackson was sworn in first black woman to serve on the Supreme Court, but she was honored with one of America’s more outlandish traditions: a bouncy head like hers.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame Museum and Museum in Milwaukee announced Jackson’s bobblehead hairstyle on Friday.
Phil Sklar, the organization’s co-founder and CEO, said in a statement: “We are delighted to make this announcement by Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.” “When the Senate voted to confirm Judge Jackson, history was made. We celebrate a momentous day in the Supreme Court’s 233-year history.”
The bobblehead hairstyle shows Jackson smiling in her judge gown, with her name printed on the attached base. Her arms hang down with her hands interlaced as she stands in front of a small building of the Supreme Court of the United States.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum announced 16 more Supreme Court judicial bobbleheads last week. Most of them will start shipping in December.

Jackson joins former Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who are already in the collection of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame.
The organization also announced 16 additional Supreme Court judicial experts: Samuel Alito, Stephen Breyer, Neil Gorsuch, Elena Kagan, Brett Kavanaugh, Anthony Kennedy, Thurgood Marshall, Sandra Day O’Connor, William Rehnquist, John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Sonia Sotomayor, David Souter, John Paul Stevens, Clarence Thomas and Earl Warren.
Whether you have a person sitting on a desk at the office or on a bookshelf at home, the bobblehead represents our heroes, real or fictional, or the present moment, often related related to popular culture.
Chris Fryar, co-president and owner of Alexander Global Promotions, told NPR: “A person with ruffled hair either captures a moment or a memory or has a detail that relates to a larger story about the story. what’s going on or a viral moment”. “It’s a work of art, but it’s a toy and it’s fun and it’s got a bit of tongue in the cheek and it’s a little gentle. I don’t think anyone can be really offended by a bobbleheads.”
Jackson’s bobblehead hair is currently on sale for $30 each. Orders are expected to ship in September. The remaining judges’ prices are also $30 and are expected to ship in December.
