Supernatural actress Nicki Aycox died at the age of 47 on November 16. Her sister-in-law, Susan Raab Cekloskyconfirmed the news the next day on Facebook. Susan wrote: “My beautiful, intelligent, fierce, incredibly talented and lovely sister-in-law, Nicki Aycox Raab, passed away yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, by her side. “Nicki and Matt had a wonderful life together in California. She’s definitely a fighter and everyone who knows her loves her,” added Susan. Her tribute features beautiful photos of Nicki with her loved ones.
Nicki’s confirmed cause of death has yet to be revealed, although it is likely she passed away from leukemia after going public reveal her diagnosis back in March 2021. At the time, Nicki posted a picture of herself in the hospital after learning she had cancer and promised that she was “fighting through chemotherapy”.
“I can’t believe my last 3 months. But now it makes sense,” Nicki wrote. “I became very ill thinking I had covid in January and February. Well, things went bad. I ended up in the hospital being diagnosed with Lukemeia. I want everyone to know that I’m doing great and fighting my way through chemotherapy. I will come back better, stronger and wiser!”
Nicki had a recurring role in Supernatural as Meg Masters, a demon and rival of Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki’s main character. Supernatural creator Eric Kripke paid tribute to Nicki on Twitter after learning of her passing. “So sad to hear that the great Nicki Aycox, our first #MegMasters, has passed away. Too young. She is a delight and delivery person like honey and venom. I was amazed at how she turned a simple word like ‘fade’ into a legend,” he wrote.

Nicki also appeared on the show Cold Case, Ally McBeal, Criminal thought, Twilight Zoneand File X. Her most notable film roles are in Jeepers Creepers 2 and Perfect Stranger. Her last role was in the 2014 drama died on campus. Nicki is also a singer. She released her debut EP, Red velvet room2015. Rest in peace Nicki.
