Urus Performante ditches three off-road modes – Sabbia, Neve and Terra – to switch to a single ‘Rally’ mode.
lamborghini India has launched its latest super SUV, the Performing Urus, with prices starting from Rs 4.22 crore (former showroom, India). Refresh mid-life for urine spawned two model lines – comfort orientation Urus WILL and the processing-oriented Urus Performante.

Lamborghini Urus Performante: performance
The Urus Performante is powered by the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 as its predecessor, but now it makes 666 hp – 16 hp more than the current model. However, the torque figure remains unchanged at 850Nm. The Performante can sprint from 0-100kph in the claimed 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 306kph (claimed).
The biggest change in the Urus Performante is the adoption of a coil spring setup that replaces the existing air suspension, although the Urus S has retained the rear suspension. With the switch to sport suspension, it loses its three terrain modes – Sabbia (Sand), Neve (Snow) and Terra (Mud) – but has a unique ‘Rally’ mode apart from Strada (Street) available ), Sport mode and Corsa (Track).
The Urus Performante is now 20mm lower, 16mm wider and 25mm longer than its predecessor. Additionally, it also has an SUV-adapted version of the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R performance tires, as an option.

The mid-life refresh comes with subtle changes to the exterior such as a new bonnet with cooling vents, a slightly more aggressive front bumper design, and a redesigned rear bumper with perforations. New vents on the side. Not much has changed in appearance other than a new design for optional 23-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the Urus Performante is wrapped in black Alcantara as standard, but a leather option may be available. The seats also have a new hexagonal design and feature ‘Performante’ badging on the seats, doors and roof panels. In addition, Lamborghini also offers a Dark Color Pack that adds Matte Black to various accents throughout.

The new high-performance version of Urus will compete with the likes of Audi RSQ8, Aston Martin DBX 707 and Maserati Levante Trofeo. It will also compete with the recently launched Ferrari Purosangue when it arrives in India.
