Bandai Namco has announced the release date for Live A Life crossover event in Super Robot War DD. Afterward initially revealed After partnering in late August 2024, the company confirmed that it would add new exclusive content from Square Enix’s game on September 18, 2024. The in-game news page added that players will be able to obtain the Steel Titan piloted by Akira Tadokoro, along with unit attack cards and pilot skill orbs, until September 30, 2024.
The Steel Titan will bring all four of its techniques from the original game to this mobile tactical RPG. Metal Strike will be its regular attack, while Marduk’s Rage (aka Jomjom Bullet) and Halogen Laser will become R-tier and SR-tier finishers, respectively. Babylon Kick will be its SSR-tier ultimate finisher.
The unit and most of its attacks will be obtainable by simply completing missions and timed quests. The attack card for Babylon Kick will only be available through a separate gacha banner. Obtaining the latter banner will also allow players to complete additional quests that reward materials to upgrade the finished version of Metal Strike to SSR+.
