Super Mario Run has a new event to celebrate the upcoming movie
Nintendo announced a new event for mobile games Super Mario Run to celebrate the upcoming movie. Right; As part of the marketing for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Nintendo will temporarily allow players to watch more levels of the mobile game for free.
Technically, Super Mario Run is a free-to-play mobile game that gives players access to some early courses without spending any money. But it locks most of the game behind a $10 fee wall after the first few courses.
Each day during the event period, a stage that is normally unplayable without purchasing the game will be unlocked for free. Plus, if you link your Nintendo Account, you can play an additional level for free! These periods change daily. Let’s go! pic.twitter.com/dwNadyWUk5

But as part of the event, Super Mario Run gives players access to a stage that would normally pay to play. This stage will be available for free for a day before being locked down, allowing players to access it temporarily. Nintendo also confirmed that linking a Nintendo Account to the game will unlock an additional stage.
The update doesn’t add anything to existing players, but is more meant to attract new entrants.
In addition, the full version of Super Mario Run will be discounted until May 31, 2023. Super Mario Run launched in 2016 and is currently available on iOS and Android. The movie Super Mario Bros. hits theaters on April 5, 2023.
