We haven’t heard much about it. Super Mario Party Convention since the initial announcement in June, but today that changed!
Nintendo has opened an official website for the game in Japan and some screenshots show a playable version of classic character ‘Pauline’ alongside fan favourites like Peach, Donkey Kong and Waluigi.
Pauline hasn’t been featured in any of the game’s promotional materials so far, so this seems like confirmation. Here are a few more screenshots showing Pauline alongside several other Mario characters, straight from Nintendo’s official website:
While Pauline was sidelined for many years, she made a spectacular return at the Switch event in 2017. Super Mario Odyssey as the mayor of New Donk City (and even sang the main theme). Since then, she has appeared in other Mario series like Mario Kart And Mario Tennis.
In addition to revealing Pauline, the site also teases some of the classic mini-games that will be featured in Jamboree.
