legendary actress Sulochana Latkar who is known for many Hindi and Marathi films passed away on Sunday, June 4, in Mumbai. The actress lived to be 94 years old and took her last breath at Sushrusa hospital in Dadar, Mumbai.
According to reports, the veteran actress has suffered from several respiratory problems and other age-related illnesses. She passed away on Sunday night at 6:30 pm.
Immediately after news of the death of actress Sulochana Latkar broke out, fans and celebrities began to mourn his loss. Sulochana’s funeral will be held at the funeral parlor in Shivaji Park, Mumbai, on June 5. Her best friend Sachin pilgrimage, Raj ThackerayCM Eknath Shinde and other celebrities came to pay their last respects at her residence.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “The passing of Sulochana Ji left a huge void in the Indian cinema world. Her unforgettable performances have enriched our culture and made people cherish her for generations. Her cinematic legacy will live on through her works. Condolences to her family. Om Shanti.”
