Street Fighter 6 has AI-powered controls for beginners
Street Fighter 6 has a new control scheme called Dynamic Control, and it works by allowing the player to enter random buttons and the AI decides the next attack, depending on distance and situation.
According to a Interview game informant With Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama, Dynamic Control doesn’t give full control to the AI. Instead, they can still move and separate manually using the d-pad. Dynamic controls, very different from Modern and Classic, will only be available in-game locally.
Dynamic Control is a unique option inspired by the “beat button” – but minus the negative connotation. “In a casual fighting game, when they [mash buttons]they just do so much,” Nakayama said. We want something important and something that makes a difference to happen by pressing a random button. “
The other two Control types are Classic and Modern. Classic control is a standard six-button layout with a fully customizable scheme. Modern controls simplify the execution of Special Attacks, like being able to trigger Hadoken with just a button input.
Street Fighter 6 will release in 2023 and the exact date is yet to be determined. One SF6 character launch trailer dropped in September and revealed the following list: Luke, Jamie, Manon, Kimberly, Marisa, Lily, JP, Juri, Dee Jay, Cammy, Ryu, E. Honda, Blanka, Guile, Ken, Chun-Li, Zangief and Dhalsim .
